Tim Bergling was born on 8 September 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden. He began remixing and producing tracks in his own bedroom at the age of 18. His friends convinced him to put his work on various music blogs online, which led to him gaining a huge following and led to support from legendary DJ and Producer Tiësto, who invited him to perform a weekly residency at Privilege Ibiza. Also, he gained support from Pete Tong who released his first single "Manman" through his Bedroom Bedlam label.^[5] In May 2008, Avicii signed to At Night Management.
Avicii was fascinated with the productions and spent many hours in his studio to create a sweet melody. Avicii never tried to get caught up in a specific subgenre of house music, but sought to create innovative productions.
